Virgil Van Dijk Launches The Liverpool FC x LeBron Air Max 1

It was a weekend to remember for Liverpool fans worldwide as they blew away their arch rivals Manchester United at Anfield with a 7-0 demolition job in the Premier League!

We shared the news with you last week that Nike had announced their collaboration collection with LeBron James and the Merseyside club.

The sneakers, officially launched on Friday appeared on Liverpool's club website with the club stating:

"The shoe is a fresh take on the classic Nike Air Max 1, which is one of Nike’s most popular designs. It launches to kick off Nike’s Air Max Month, the annual celebration of Nike Air. 

Inspired by this season’s third kit colour palette, the Liverpool FC x LeBron trainer is green and red in a leather and textile finish for a durable, layered look with Max Air cushioning.

Extra detailing includes the LFC crest and LeBron’s crown inside the shoe, with ‘YNWA’ and ‘SFG’ (Strive for Greatness) crafted on the back.
