This Week's Sneaker Drops
We're set for another cracking week of launches in the sneaker world, take a closer look at what's dropping this week!
Nike Mac Attack White Black
Before the Nike Air Trainer 1 existed, tennis superstar John McEnroe rocked the Mac Attack. Introduced in 1984, the Mac Attack boasted an aggressive design with a mesh base and leather overlays suitable for fast-paced players like McEnroe. The shoe never got a retro release before, so this 2023 comeback marks the first time Nike brought the tennis trainer back. Previously seen on LeBron James and recently Travis Scott, the Mac Attack gets ready to serve. This colourway features a white upper with black accents on the Swoosh, collar, and heel counter. Checkered tongue labels stay true to its OG rendition. The white midsole and grey rubber outsole complete this clean makeover.

Nike Dunk Low Topography University Blue
Cast across its vamp, quarter and collar, a light blue terry cloth fabric mimics the lines of rough terrain with a series of soft and etched-out underlays. Elsewhere, the surrounding smooth leather overlays render a clad “University Blue” option above while a marbled finish attributes the mid-foot Swoosh alongside the parallel tongue and heel tabs to add further versatility to the tonal color blocking. Underfoot, the premium ensemble closes up shop in its typical tooling with a crisp white midsole and titular tread below.

Nike TN Air Max Plus Light Photography
The one-piece canvas upper is even more minimal than the ultra-editions of the past, removing the TPVU welded lines completely, making these more lightweight than ever. Don’t fear though because the iconic upper is still here, now in graphic white outlines that represent the “Light Photography” theme. A fiery combination of oranges and reds makes this seem like a colourway we may have seen before, although the closest thing that Nike has issued to this has got to be the Air Max Presto “Lightning” edition from 2015. The other sections of the shoe keep it plain and simple by opting for white or black, ensuring the upper remains the standout piece. Patent leather on the heel gives the iconic TN hexagonal logo an extra bit of flare, stamped in its usual position to give the silhouette its classic feel.

Nike Dunk Low Washed Denim
This low-top Dunk is predominantly white tumbled leather from heel to toe. The tongues are fashioned with beige-toned nylon, matching the mesh sock liners. The highlight of the shoe comes in the form of the faded black and white denim texture applied on the signature profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral quarter panels and the cut-out collar underlays. The white heel tabs feature “NIKE” text branding embroidered in navy. The Nike headquarters address in Oregon is printed in black on the insole tags with exposed red stitching. A sail-coloured midsole and a caramel-coloured gum rubber outsole complete the design of these kicks.
