Step onto the Green in Style: The Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 '1961' Drops on the 8th of September

Despite being a relatively recent addition to the Jumpman family, Eastside Golf has swiftly accumulated an array of collaborative ventures. This momentum doesn't appear to be waning any time soon, as the brand has officially announced the forthcoming release of their "1961" collection, set to launch later this September. Alongside the Jordan ADG 4 and the Air Jordan 6 Low, Eastside Golf is set to infuse their unique touch into the Air Jordan 1 Golf model.

Just like its companions in this collection, this pair places great emphasis on inclusivity, paying homage to the year when the PGA ended its ban on non-white players. This theme is elegantly conveyed through the packaging and the sneakers themselves. The terms "CHANGE" and "1961" are prominently inscribed on the box and the heel counters, respectively, symbolizing this pivotal moment.

While drawing inspiration from the iconic Air Jordan 1 "Bred," the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 stands out with distinctive design modifications. Notably, the color red is replaced with "Malachite," introducing a fresh element. Further differences manifest in the form of gilded Wings logos and a vintage-inspired, pre-weathered midsole.

The "Eastside Golf" branding gracefully adorns the Swoosh in cursive, creating an air of sophistication. The brand's signature logo takes center stage on the tongue and even becomes an accessory of its own. Anticipation builds as we take an official, closer look at the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 "1961," counting down the days to its eagerly awaited launch on the 8th of September.

With the price tag set to be around £200, will you be copping these bad boys once released?
