It was only a matter of time before Nike's released the Air Max 1 ‘Panda’

Two years ago, Nike unveiled the Dunk Low 'Panda' to the public. Little did they realize that this particular colour scheme would go on to become one of their most beloved designs ever. Today, the renowned sportswear brand is extending this monochromatic style to its iconic Air Max 1 silhouette. Although the release is still pending, there's a strong anticipation that it will be one of the most significant launches of the year.

Working on top of a tightly woven white mesh base, the Tinker Hatfield-design trainer is layered with light grey suede panels across the sidewalls and around the heel. A Swoosh glides through the lateral and medial, and this is complemented with a black overlay that wraps around the mudguard section.

Underfoot, the Air Max 1 sits on top of Nike's critically acclaimed Air midsole for extra comfort and cushioning with every step. It's then finished off with a rubber outsole for added grip and traction while on the move.

A release date has yet to be officially confirmed for the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Panda,’ but it should drop within the next few weeks at Nike and select stockists across the globe. Expect to pay around £150 for these highly anticipated sneakers.
