Could This Be The Last Nike & Travis Scott Collab?
He's one of the biggest names in the music industry, but this could well be the last time we see a Nike collaboration with Hip-Hop sensation Travis Scott.
Nike and Scott first teamed up in 2017, going on to deliver multiple iterations of the backward Swoosh Air Jordan 1's.
These will go fast with Nike already themselves sold out on their official website, other resellers may have them - but be prepared to pay over and above to get your hands on a pair of this limited edition release.
Nike have described the Air Jordan 1 Low's as:
"Travis Scott—hip-hop artist, record label founder and Houston native—continues to leave his imprint on the AJ1 Low. This edition, made exclusively in women's sizes, keeps it classic while adding in details that show Scott's love of moto style. Medium Olive accents pop against crisp Sail overlays and premium-black leather underlays.
Cactus Jack branding on the tongue and heel pair with a fresh set of off-road tracks on the insole. And of course, we kept the backwards Swoosh, Scott's signature touch for all his AJ1 designs."
Our friends over at The Sole Supplier meanwhile have said:
"Kitted out in a suede and leather build, the pair arrives in a selection of earth tones typical of Scott’s Jordan collabs. To kick things off, a black suede dresses the base, while creamy, off-white leather overlays wrap their way around the uppers. “Olive” Swooshes then sweep across the sidewalls in Cactus Jack’s usual backwards fashion, while red branding hits add extra pops of colour. This then comes finished with a two-toned “Sail” and “Olive” sole unit, which brings the pair to a close perfectly.
The shoes arrive alongside a matching clothing capsule, which includes two styles of leather trousers, a bodysuit and a crop top, which all come in an earth-toned palette. The star of the show however, is undoubtedly the moto-inspired leather jacket, which features various branded patches for an authentic look."
