Adidas to Release More of Kobe Bryant's Retro Sneakers

They are bringing back fan-favourite sneakers from Kobe Bryant's time with the brand. 

The sneaker community has been dominated by headlines surrounding the upcoming return of the signature sneaker line of Kobe Bryant. Luckily for old-school hoops fans and fashion-forward individuals, adidas is opening its archives to reprise several certified classic sneakers in retro and fresh new colourways. 

On Tuesday afternoon, adidas officially announced its release calendar for several highly anticipated models from the Los Angeles Lakers legend's time with the brand. The adidas Basketball modern and retro styles will be available globally through, the adidas CONFIRMED app, and at select retailers.

Long before Bryant won NBA Championships or even had a signature sneaker line, the uber-confident teenager wore the adidas Top Ten 2010. Over 27 years after its initial inception, the model is re-releasing in three vibrant, eye-catching colorways.  

A crossover between basketball and music culture, this adidas Top Ten 2010 release comes inspired by basketball and hip-hop’s obsession with that ultimate 2000s style - the velour tracksuit.

adidas Crazy 8

Adidas Basketball Hall of Fame legend, the Crazy 8, has returned for the 2023 season. The model has been considered a grail for many and has been worn by several of the game's most iconic players since Bryant debuted the model in the late 1990s. 

The classic hoop shoe returns for another round of releases in three bold colourways. The silhouettes' distinct design with its unmistakable zig-zags are modernized yet reflect models of the past.

Perhaps no shoe from Bryant's time with adidas is more iconic than the Crazy 1. Bryant won his first two titles in the model, cementing its place in sneaker history. The adidas Crazy 1 returns in four fresh colorways that come steeped in history and tradition.  

Always associated with the courts and sometimes even spaceships. Whatever you think of when you see the iconic design, it goes without saying that it guarantees both skill on the court and style on the streets to match. And will forever be ahead of its time.
